The Switzerland Women’s National team took to the field for the first time in May 2025, in Belgium, proudly wearing bespoke Lacuna Sports kit. They had a dominant 4-0 match sweep in their first ever T20I series, and their form continued through the summer earning them 12 wins from 12. They are now 28 in the ICC T20 World rankings.
We first met Russell Lowman, the Head Coach of the Women’s side, in August 2023 at Lydia Greenway’s 1 Competition, and Russell got back in touch when he had formed his squad. Lacuna travelled to Basel to a training weekend to fit the women’s team and share the designs.

Lacuna worked with Cricket Switzerland to design both match and training kit, using the mountains from their logo, as well as the National colours.
Players all chose Spin tops, Ponyflo caps and had the choice of Pace or Spin trousers.
For training, they have hoodies, training tops, shorts and leggings.
Russell has matching men’s coaching kit.
