The 2026 women’s cricket season is finally here!
It’s shaping up to be a fantastic few months. The kind that brings together legends of the game, emerging players and those you end up following long after the final match. And with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup among the highlights, it’s an opportunity for a shift – in visibility, in recognition and in support of the game we love. There’ll be established stars, young talent coming through and a mix of teams and personalities that make cricket what it is.
With matches being played across the nation at some of the country’s best grounds, it feels like the stage is set to be one of those summers where edge of the seat cricket is available to follow, watch and enjoy wherever you turn.
At Lacuna, we believe women’s cricket doesn’t need redefining or reframing. It’s competitive, skilful and genuinely good to watch. It stands on its own.
It simply needs to be seen, supported and celebrated at every level.
So, to mark this moment, we’ve partnered with our friends at The Final Word podcast to create something special for all those who want to support the game.
Introducing our limited edition women’s cricket t-shirt.
It’s a simple way to show your support by saying:
This is not women’s cricket. This is cricket.
Just pure and simple cricket – on the best stage.
We’re asking those who purchase it to wear it, share it and celebrate it. Help us bring the game centre stage and support women’s cricket’s moment to show up in conversations far and wide this summer.
From today, 17th April, we’re teaming up with @finalwordcricket to highlight everyone spotted wearing it across our socials. Post your selfie, tag us both (@lacunasportsuk @finalwordcricket) and look out for a reshare or a spot in our This Is Women’s Cricket gallery.
During the tournament, watch out for the women’s cricket t-shirt being worn by players, commentators and familiar faces from the world of cricket.
The Lacuna x The Final Word limited edition t-shirt is available now, whilst stocks last.
Wear it. Share it. Be part of it.
